The church was built of brick in the 14th century. It was rebuilt in the 18th century and restored in 1936. It is a single-nave church with a wooden pulpit from the 17th century and a wooden altar from the 19th century. A classicist wooden organ prospectus was installed in the church in 1800. The wooden bell tower standing next to the church in Piotrkowiczki, with a hipped roof covered with shingles, was built in the 17th century. It originally had two bells, now one. In 1985 the crumbling belfry was demolished and a new one was erected after a concrete foundation was put in place.

For the church in Piotrkowiczki, a new painting of the Sacred Heart was made by Jan Molga in 1970.
