Location

Only 60 km from Wrocław and the same distance from Leszno is the picturesquely situated Fish Farm "Ruda Żmigrodzka" with over 170 ha of fish ponds. This naturally charming corner of the Barycz Valley, away from the main roads, is a green oasis of peace and quiet, interrupted only by the sounds of nature.

Fishing ground

There are 14 fish ponds in the area of our farm, one of which - named Szosowy I - has been designated as a commercial fishery for anglers. This pond resembles a rectangle in shape and has a water surface area of 2.2 hectares. Wooden benches and stumps are available for anglers.

Fish species

The main fish you can catch here is the Milicz carp, certified each year as "Barycz Valley Recommends". The pond for anglers is also stocked with such fish as: zander - pike - catfish - perch - tench - gras carp - small fish.

Additional attractions
Near the fishery there is a Fish Inn offering a variety of dishes made of fish bred both here and imported from the sea. In the next few years, the infrastructure of the fishery is planned to be expanded with new benches, shelters (roofs), etc. for the convenience of anglers. It is also planned to open a shop with accessories for anglers.
