A hill on the Trzebnickie Hills, towering over Oborniki Śląskie from the north-east. Extensive views of Oborniki Śląskie, Wrocław, Ślęża and the Sudetes. On the summit, a Bronze Age steel cross and barrow, a little further south a small monument dedicated to Karol von Holtei (1798-1880).
Holtei's mountain is located within the 100-hectare "Grzybek" landscape and recreation park.
Karol von Holtei, a Silesian writer and precursor of Romanism, as a frequent visitor to Oborniki Śląskie, contributed significantly to its fame as a health resort. He enjoyed a reputation as a friend of the Poles. He dedicated two of his plays to them, "Old Chief" about Tadausz Kościuszko and "The Last Pole" telling the story of the November Uprising.
