The first service was held by Rev. Athanasius Slawinski in 1949, who led to the opening of the parish. The temple is a brick former Evangelical church built in the 19th century. A stained glass window in the chancel window, depicting Christ Pantocrator, shows the year 1876.Next to the church stands a bell tower dating from 1696. It was badly devastated. Thanks to the efforts of the parish priest, it was able to be completely renovated. The parish allocates its own small funds entirely to the repairs of the temple.
