It dates from the 14th century, rebuilt after the Hussite destruction in 1491 -1492 and partially reconstructed in the first half of the 19th century. A number of epitaphs stand out in the varicoloured interior, including an interesting one by Sigismund Kurzbach from 1513, who, as a courtier of Władysław the Jagiellonian, received the area at the end of the 15th century.

The parish church of St James, mentioned in 1335, was built at the end of the 15th century (1491-1492) as a brick building. A single-nave church with a two-bay chancel covered with a cross-ribbed vault, it has a square tower in the west façade. Adjoining the southern wall of the chancel is the Count Hatzfeld burial chapel, dating from the second half of the 17th century, covered with a two-bay barrel vault, decorated with rich stucco. In the interior, a carved wooden altar and a number of tombstones have been preserved, the oldest of which is the richly polychrome full-length tombstone of Zygmunt Korczach (d. 1513). In the chapel there is a tombstone of Melchior Hatzfeld (d. 1658) in the form of a stone tomb with a lying figure of the deceased in knightly attire with side walls decorated with relief battle scenes.
