The post-evangelical church of St. Stanislaus Kostka was built on a Latin cross plan in 1854-58 according to a design by H. Wäserman. The marble altar, funded by Prince Hermann von Hatzfeldt, dates from 1858. This was also when the knob was placed on the tower, which reached a height of 195 feet (approx. 59.5 m). A year later, the church was enriched with windows and stained glass, including the central stained glass window depicting the risen Saviour, which is still in the church today. These were made at the well-known Seiler Stained Glass Institute in Wrocław. On the other hand, bells cast in Stettin and the main altar were solemnly consecrated in 1860, and the completed and equipped church was finally consecrated in 1861.
It was solemnly consecrated, after being taken over by a Catholic parish, on 26 November 1972, with the title of St Stanislaus Kostka.
Due to its poor technical condition, the building is closed.
