Between 1894 and 1895 a neo-Gothic church was built, and in 1896 a cure - an independent pastoral institution - was established in Dobroszyce. Until the end of the Second World War, the outpost was run by the Brothers of St John the Baptist de La Salle, who ran a day care centre and an orphanage. Since 1945, the parish has been in the hands of the Salvatorian Fathers, and metrical books have been kept since then. A parish chronicle has been kept since 1972.

In the presbytery, behind the altar, there are arched windows filled with stained glass. The central stained glass window depicts the patron saint of the parish. St Hedwig is girded with a rope, wearing a red cloak and holding a model of the church in her hand.

The church has a wooden pulpit with a canopy, modestly decorated, and a stone baptismal font, standing on a small elevation decorated with columns. In the church you can admire the image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, painted in the style of a Vladimir icon.
