It is a replica of the sculpture of the Madonna and Child on a lion, placed in a triptych created around 1375 previously located in the church in Luczyna.
This triptych was in the collection of the Schlesisches Museum der bildenden Künste in Wrocław from around 1919, and in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw from 1946.
According to the order, the copy in the form of a semi-plastic sculpture is made of white sandstone from Szydłówek, the width of the base is 50 cm, the height of the figure with the lion is about 160 cm, and with the crown about 180 cm. The base measures 100 x 80 x 80 cm and is stylised for the Middle Ages.
The maker of the replica is Zbigniew Podurgiel, an artist from Oleśnica.
