Bicycle routes

It is best to start the tour from Milicz (conveniently accessible by train or car park along the route), but you can start from any other place, as it has the form of a loop and you will always reach the starting point.

Route:

Milicz - Gruszeczka - Książęca Wieś - Jamnik - Ruda Żmigrodzka - Niezgoda - Grabówka - Ruda Sułowska - Łąki - Sułów - Koruszka - Ostoja - Milicz

The route for the first part leads along the route of the former narrow-gauge railway through Milicz to Książęca Wieś and further in the direction of the Jamnik village, where you need to leave the cycling road, which turns left towards Żmigród, and enter the Jamnik village. We encourage you to stop by the ponds and watch the birds.

The route continues through Ruda Żmigrodzka, Olszyny Niezgodzkie, Niezgoda, Grabówka, Ruda Sułowska, Łąki and Sułów. This is one of the most beautiful cycling routes - desolate areas, rich in vegetation and diverse landscape, from views reminiscent of scenes from "The Lord of the Rings" (Olszyny Niegodzkie), to vast ponds, surrounding dykes and oak avenues, with a variety of bird species on the ponds.

After Sułów, the route leads through the forest to the charming village of Koruszka and Reserve of Polish Konik near Milicz. From here it is a stone's throw to the finish.

Quite a long route, with some difficulty in places due to the sandy ground, so we recommend bikes with thicker tyres. The length of the route requires good stamina, but we also encourage you to stop for spectacular views. The route is ideal for a day trip solo or with friends. Recommended for nature lovers. The route is easy, but there may be some sand on the section from Ruda Sułowska, through the woods, to Koruszko. Hence, we do not recommend bicycles with thin tyres.
