The recreational lagoon in Milicz is a unique place to relax with the family and spend time actively. The lagoon is characterised by a well-maintained infrastructure in the form of wooden piers, a covered gazebo on the water, bands of resting benches, a nature trail, an outdoor gym and a beach volleyball court, and for the youngest a playground in the shape of a fishing boat. On the site we can see decorative elements in the form of colourful cycling figures, wooden sculptures and a fishing boat with nets, which gives character to the place.

In addition, there is a safe barbecue area, the DZPK Biodiversity Centre and a nearby skatepark, an attraction for the active. The paths around the reservoir are ideal for cycling and walking. The site also offers the possibility of fishing, after purchasing an appropriate permit in the Foundation office or online (all information on the Foundation for the Land of Milicz website). During the summer, the site will host numerous cultural events, information about which will be made available on the internet on an ongoing basis.

In the building located on the site there is a Department of Promotion of the Poviat Starosty in Milicz, open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., where one can obtain materials promoting the Milicz Poviat area.

At Milicz's lagoon a restaurant operated by MSPDiON is open in the summer season. In addition, a beach and bathing area are available in the summer season, as well as a public toilet. An additional attraction are the daily excursions to the surrounding corners of the Barycz Valley by electric melex. The attractive Ryszard Szurkowski Cycling Path and the Colourful Carp Trail run nearby.
